Support 2024 Camp

This year to keep camp costs low, we are asking teachers and organizers to pay for their camp. No one is getting paid. If you have any abundance to support those who are supporting us, it would be greatly appreciated!

We are the filaments / spinning mycelial healing / in the fungal fabric / of life, death and resilience. – Winter Witchcamp 2024 Intention

This request for your donation is simple: Can you help support the work, dedication, creativity, and wisdom of those who are holding the container of camp this year? Here is our GoFundMe site where you can offer your financial support.

We are filaments – all of us create the container. Every camper, organizer, volunteer, and teacher is a filament spinning mycelial healing.

In our broader community meeting, as we debated how much to ask for the fee for camp, we knew we wanted to support our community by making the cost for camp as low as possible. Our sliding fee for in-person camp starts at $350. To keep that commitment to community, we asked teachers if they could pay for their camp and teach without pay. In addition, organizers are also paying for camp.

We are a fungal fabric – woven in Mystery, leaning on each other, giving and receiving.

This isn’t a guilt trip! If you have the abundance to donate to this fund, the money will go to covering the costs of attending camp for teachers and organizers.

To cover camp costs for the teachers, both on-site and online, we need $2175. To cover camp costs for teachers and organizers, we need $3600. The organizers are committed to using any raised money first for the teachers. We’d also like to pay the tech witches a stipend for their work. Their camp is already free.

Thank you for your generosity. We will be discussing the important topic of money as we move forward with regenerating Winter Witchcamp. Please send us your feedback and thoughts. Winter Witchcamp is a non-profit and donations are tax-deductible.
