Death Birds and Dreaming– with Yule Danu Oyagbemi and Silen Silvertongue
Birds as threshold bearers, birds as psychopomps – those who can carry us to the ancestral realms, birds as omens from the Otherworld, and birds that sing of prophetic futures…
In this Path, we will take a three-day journey through Death, the Otherworld, and Rebirth.
We will follow the omen of birds throughout Rhiannon’s story. Some say it was a bird-like creature who took Rhiannon’s son Pryderi away to the Otherworld. Perhaps this bird bore the same large talons that took all the village’s newborn foals from their mares for years until the infant Pryderi was delivered back. Rhiannon’s birds are said to wake the dead and lull the living to sleep, charming their listeners for years at a time.
With birds as our allies and psychopomps, we will:
- Heal with Ancestors, with the Land, and with the Descendents
- Go to the Otherworld to deepen our connection with Rhiannon and with the more-than-human neighbors.
- Listen to the wisdom of our various allies to explore reciprocity and better relationship
- Spell-craft around the Ancestors we want to become
- Reemerging we sing ourselves back to life.
Come cross the threshold between the worlds. Come listen for the birds who sing from beyond the veil. Come honor our witch allies and kin.
Come reweave the threads of prophecy!
We welcome anyone 16+ who has taken Elements of Magic in our Path.
Flying, Mourning, and Singing with the Birds of Rhiannon – from heartbreak to wholeness, sorrow to songs of inspiration with Cubby and Riyana
In this time of calamity, there is so much to grieve, and yet, the birds still sing– weaving song, weaving nests, spreading seeds throughout the forest, calling to warn their friends and neighbors when it is needed.
As witches attuned to the birds, we can learn the power of song, generosity, and community as we turn towards life and joy, even as we carry our sorrows and losses with us.
In this time of calamity, there is so much to grieve, and yet the birds still fly. They soar high on the currents of freedom, flocking towards the horizon. They migrate tens of thousands of miles, guided by their ancestors and the deepest intuition.
As witches attuned to the birds, we can learn the power of flight, change, movement and finding our way through by being guided by Deep Mystery.
In this time of calamity, there is so much to grieve, and yet the birds see. The Birds of Rhiannon, both earthly and fey, see farther than we can, into the future and what is to come, and they sing the spells we need to move past our sorrow, rage, apathy, and fear toward magic, healing, devotion, and power.
In this time of calamity, there is so much to grieve, and grieve we will witches. We will grieve– but we will also weave and sing beauty with the birds. This work isn’t about moping, navel-gazing, or collapsing, but knowing and bringing all of the parts of ourselves together so we can be more potent healers, artists, and activists within the Great Turning.
To get there, we will create a daily practice of knowing and aligning our triple souls, as well as deepening our relationship to the land by working with all three realms of sky, land, and sea, as well as connecting to the fey realms through working with the Birds of Rhiannon. We will delve into the tools of keening, spirit flight, time magic, breathwork, and divination. In a cauldron of connection and inspiration, we will find our way through heartache, heartbreak, numbness and burnout, and towards the bright possibilities still before us, if we have the courage to take wing.

Know thyself – Finding “I” through imagination, improvisation, and intuition – with Rae Eden and Wand
Join us on a journey of inquiry and exploration as we call on the birds of Rhiannon to cultivate an embodied presence and connect with our inner voices. We will use multiple senses for discovery and then activate our imagination and intuition to create song spells to carry forth into the world.
This path begins by slowing down and becoming quiet enough to hear what is emerging. From that stillness, we will listen. What are the birds asking us to listen to? What is yearning to be heard? What do we need to remember to become more fully ourselves? What are the patterns that keep us from paying attention to intuition? We cultivate the capacity to listen inwardly, respond in the moment, and trust our instincts.
Through meditation, movement, improvisation, voice work, writing, divination and play, we explore how these inner songs can become resources for meeting the present moment.
The path moves from stillness to listening, from listening to voice, from voice to purpose, cultivating the courage to bring our own authentic songs into the larger songs of the world.
Come as you are – Leave as you will be.
No prerequisites or singing talent required.

Kid’s Path – with Jason Scarecrow and Heidi Marian
Calling ALL Wintery Witchy Kids! We welcome you to camp, we welcome you to Kids Path!
Heidi and Jason are hosting a magical and playful path for ages tiny to 18 years old at camp, based in the magic of the camp story and the deep winter wonderland around us. Each day, our lovingly held container will include some time outside and some time indoors, weaving magic in both environments!
Outdoor activities may include: walking on the frozen lake, snow structures, hiking in the woods, tracking and searching for animal residents, working with the labyrinth, bird language both through games and experientially, etc. Indoor activities may include: art or craft-making, potion making, ritual invocation planning for camp rituals, reading together, journaling, time in the green room, and small group activities.
We are ready to adapt to the ages, numbers, mobility needs, and personalities of those who show up. Our only ask is that the kids be potty-trained and come with appropriate cold winter clothing for time outdoors.
The kid’s path container will be designed to be semi-permeable if kids or parents need access, but we hold space and continue to encourage presence and participation for the full amount of path time, so there is a container for those in other paths to go as deep as desired. There will be plenty of time later to hear all about what mischief we got into.
For anyone on the fence, please feel free to reach out with any questions. If you children have any special needs or things we need to be aware of, please reach out. We might try to have a meeting prior to camp to get a little background on the kids and help us dial in our plan for the path.
We Welcome you. We are here for you. We cannot wait to meet you and get into some good trouble!
Jason and Heidi
